Tips and Tricks – Save Time in Outlook with Quick Parts

Don't re-type the same thing in your emails over and over again. There's a way to save time in Microsoft Outlook by reusing and sharing boilerplate text.

Outlook 2007 and 2010 offer a gallery called Quick Parts, which provides "building blocks" - bits of content or other e-mail message parts that can be re-used. These building blocks are stored in galleries, can be accessed and reused any time, and can also be shared and distributed with templates so that other users can use the building blocks you created. This feature is perfect for Frequently Asked Questions, directions, multiple signatures, policies, maps, chain letters, etc.
